The TV Week - Monday 27th December - New Year's Eve

8.00pm Three Men Go to Scotland BBC2 - Griff Rhys-Jones, Rory McGrath and Dara O'Briain head to the Hebrides for another adventure on the high seas, sailing around some of the prettiest and most remote seascapes in the British Isles. Since none of the three men in a boat have any particular connection to Scotland, they decide to use the 16th century travels of dictionary writer Dr Johnson and his biographer James Boswell as inspiration.
8.30pm Celebrity Mastermind BBC1 - John Humphrys hosts a new series of Celebrity Mastermind. Taking part are Mark Lawrenson, Hilary Kay, Samantha Giles and Richard Herring.
9.00pm Upstairs, Downstairs BBC1 - Second part of the remake of the drama. Continues tomorrow.

10.00pm Come Fly With Me BBC1 - Start of a brand new six-part comedy series from Matt Lucas and David Waliams set in a busy Airport. 80-year-old Hetty Wolf takes her first ever flight with Great British Air, husband and wife pilots Simon and Jackie sort out their marriage at 35,000 feet above Sweden, and Omar Baba, owner of low-cost carrier FlyLo, is forced to do something about the lack of life-jackets on his planes.
11.05pm Jamie's Christmas Lock In Channel 4 - Jamie is joined by special guests, including Jonathan Ross, Louie Spence and Charlotte Church, as well as family and friends, who all muck in to make this the best Christmas party ever.

8.00pm Top Gear Special BBC2 - In a special extended version of the programme, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May embark on an appropriately seasonal road trip as they attempt to follow the path of the Three Wise Men across the Middle East. They do so in a trio of open top sports cars, each wholly unsuited to the conflict ridden mountains of southern Turkey, the dangerous warzones of Iraq and the searing deserts of Syria. Along the way they test the limits of mechanical and physical endurance as well as asking the vital question, what exactly is myrrh and where do you buy it?

9.00pm Upstairs, Downstairs BBC1 - Revival of the iconic period drama series. Sir Hallam Holland and his beautiful wife Lady Agnes inherit a dilapidated 165 Eaton Place, and set about restoring the house to its full glory. Former housemaid Rose Buck finds herself back in the house where she was happiest, but the arrival of an unwelcome guest puts a strain on relations, both upstairs and down. Starring Keeley Hawes, Jean Marsh, Eileen Atkins, Anne Reid and Claire Foy.
9.00pm When Harvey Met Bob BBC2 - Feature-length dramatisation following the story of how Boomtown Rats singer Bob Geldof and promoter Harvey Goldsmith put together Live Aid, the global charity music event. Set between the winter of 1984 and the summer of 1985, it focuses on the extraordinary relationship between Geldof and Goldsmith as they created the concert to 'feed the world'.
9.00pm Benidorm ITV - It is Christmas on the Costa Blanca and the Garveys are staying with Mel and Madge in their luxury hilltop villa - but will Mel make it back from a business trip in time for Christmas dinner?
